We carried out our commercial office fit out service for Aspen Pumps. They are a UK based company that designs and supplies products for the HVAC/R industry. They operate globally and own several brands like JAVAC, Big Foot Systems and Advanced Engineering.
Aspen Pumps are the biggest employer in our local area.
The Planning Stage
Having worked together previously, Aspen Pumps turned to CCM once again after acquiring a new property in Hailsham, seeking a trusted partner for their latest venture.
The landlord had recently completed a Cat A fit out, providing a blank canvas that Aspen Pumps were eager to customise in order to reflect their distinctive brand identity.
With a clear vision in mind, they aimed to create an engaging, welcoming environment that would draw employees back into the office—an intentional response to the post-pandemic shift toward remote working. This vision played a central role in shaping the design philosophy.
One of the key considerations was acoustic control. The company’s previous office featured multiple cellular spaces, so managing noise in the new open-plan layout became a top priority.
The Project
We collaborated with our design team to develop a scheme that supports a diverse range of work styles. CCM Interiors integrated various workspace solutions into the design, including collaborative zones, seating booths, quiet areas, and formal desking.

The Solution
Noise pollution poses a significant challenge in busy office environments, and Aspen Pumps were acutely aware of the need for effective acoustic solutions—particularly due to the site’s proximity to their warehouse.
The shift from a series of cellular offices to an open-plan layout amplified concerns around potential noise disruptions, making it essential to create an environment that supports focus and productivity.
To address this, CCM recommended the integration of acoustic ceiling baffles and decorative wall panelling. These elements not only enhance the acoustic performance of the space but also contribute to its overall visual appeal, striking a balance between function and design.
